AMBER developed learning material to support university courses and trainings for companies on different facets of resilience assessment, measurement and benchmarking (AMB). The learning material is available in the form of a set of teaching units. Each unit covers a well-defined topic and offers specific knowledge that is relevant to AMB of resilience. With regard to the basics and fundamentals of dependable computing, these units rely on existing teaching materials that are publicly available, especially the MSc Curriculum in Resilient Computing developed by the Consortium of the ReSIST Network of Excellence from 2006 to 2009.
The teaching units are grouped into categories covering basics (2 units), resilience assessment (6 units), resilience measurement (5 units) and resilience benchmarking (1 comprehensive unit). Each teaching unit contains a set of slides for presentation and individual study, references to background reading material, and questions for self-assessment. Optional elements are detailed examples or case studies that are directly relevant to the topic of the unit.
